ICATSD 2026 marks the third edition of the International Conference on Advanced Technology and Sustainable Development, hosted by the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH). From 8 to 10 October 2026, researchers and practitioners will gather at 12 Nguyen Van Bao, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, across five focused symposia and a Scientific Council drawn from ten countries — Vietnam, Belgium, France, Italy, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and China. The idea behind the conference is straightforward: bring bright minds together and give them room to turn advanced technology into progress that lasts.
At ICATSD 2026, delegates will have the opportunity to hear directly from Prof. Dr. Quoc Tuan Tran, who currently serves as Professor at INSTN, Paris-Saclay University, and Director of Research, Fellow Scientist, and International Expert at the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission). His academic path began with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology in 1993, followed by his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in 2000, and has since spanned teaching at Grenoble INP, Grenoble Alpes University, ENSTA, and ENPC ParisTech. His research addresses smart grids, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and artificial intelligence in energy systems, reflected in more than 50 major research projects, 11 patents, seven books, and over 300 publications, alongside supervising 50 Ph.D. theses. An IEEE Senior Member and CIGRE Member, Prof. Tran brings decades of international experience to ICATSD 2026. Register today to attend and hear his keynote in person.
